The Pride of Salem
The Musical Ambassadors of the City of Salem. The marching band performs 35 to 40 times every school year. Football games, Marching Competitions, Parades, Pep rallies and More! The marching band begins practice near the end of July. Our biggest fundraiser of the year is our annual DCI event at Salem Stadium. The Pride of Salem competes in the Virginia Marching Band Cooperative(VMBC) and Bands of America(BOA). The Marching Band has participated in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade and Walt Disney World Parades.
